Seems to me somebody said not long ago that there was no iTTL ring
flash available for the D70. According to a rave review at Nikonians,
    this one works great:

Also in that same thread, somebody asked me about the Sigma EF-500 DG
ST NA iTTL flash and I had only used it once at the time. After a
couple more outings, I'm even more impressed. Automatic bounce
exposure is great. If I can use it, it's pretty much idiot proof. I'm
impressed, but you must remember that up till now I've been using a
Vivitar with a guide number of around 35 or the built ins on various
digitals, so I might not be the best critic. On the other hand, it
sure does do a great job with everything I've tried so far. Now to
learn to use it off camera, on manual and using it with slaves. Maybe
old dogs can learn new tricks. ;o)

Hope the folks that asked see this, since I've tried to post three
times now. Hope this one is the charm. Don't hit the wrong key when
you have more than one window open..... it all just disappears.
