I have this DV camera connected to my pc via firewire and was wondering if
anyone knows how to enable it to be used as a webcam. I believe this is
possible as it was listed as a function when I bought the camera from Comet
but I can't seem to find any info on how to do it.
    Any help would be appreciated.

The obvious place to look is the manual - but you say that you can't
find any info there. Have a look at the menu options for your camcorder
    - sometimes things are there but have to be ferreted out of the menu
    settings.

If you fail to find anything there, you could try connecting to your PC
with a USB cable, and running your camcorder without any tape in.

If that doesn't work, there's a program which might help - it's called
WebDV. You'll have to Google to find it. This program runs via the
    firewire port.
