Kodak announces new film

  1. Yes, actually we did analogue computers in college, in the subject
    automation controls systems (or whatever you call'em in USA).But they are
    used only for this purpose, no practical use whatsoever.

  2. And I have a major in electrical engineering.That's the principle of a
    digital computer, actually today's computers are so sophisticated, that few
    people can tell that they are digital.In the early days, where programming
    was by switches, and results with lamps going on-off, it was quite easy to
    tell.

  3. It would be quite difficult to fit this in my room, and I don't know if it
    can be connected to the internet (talking about playing Quake 3 arena on a
    Babbage difference engine-what does such an engine run?Stone age windows?)

    Electronics is not digital. One may have digital circuits, but electronics
    is always analog.
