I just read that kodak will stop producing all B/W printing paper this
year(2006).weeell I have decided that when they do this that kodak will
(in my opinion)no longer exist andI will use other sources for all my
photo supplies.Maybe this will let the bean counters Know that they
have made a grave mistake. The same goes for agfa who have decided to
follow suit.I have A BFA in photography and am really pissed that the
people who call themselves the prs.s choice would do this to long time
    supporters of thier products.

Do you run a business of any kind? Does your business include any perishable
    products?

Unfortunately the trend due to digital stuff. I don't think you can ding
Kodak so much, they are just following the market trends. After all they
are a company that needs to show a profit, and I'm sure that they are
struggling with the digital revolution as much as you are.

    No, thayt's not right.

The problem is that the equipment Kodak has to produce paper and film
is designed for very high speeds and volumes. It is impractical to run
    the equipment at 1/3 capacity.

    It's flat out or nothing...
