Just watched an old Kodak SLR-pro /n being sold on eBay for 401 euro.

I never had the pleasure to work with one of these... but I wondered if this
camera still is worth that money?

I must say that I went on with bidding till 101 euro, then i quit. I got a
eos 1D mark II after all... I just fancied a good camera for some ol' nikkor
    objectices

  2. Kirk Tuck rates the Kodak DCS 760. He reckons it's a really good studio
camera and produces a nice out of the box image.

Here's an essay that touches on using it. There's others kicking around and
one that goes into describing it in more detail but you'll have to dig those
    up yourself.

I seem to remember that about 3 or so years ago there being a large
number of Kodak SLR-pro cameras (EOS and Nikon mount) for sale on eBay.
Even then it wasn't a new camera and I would hazard a guess that by now
the batteries would most likely be not able to hold a charge.
I believe that this problem just on it's own would make it a somewhat
frustrating camera to try and use.
I would love to be wrong about this.

Ah, the pre-eminent psychohistorian. I think we are in a "Seldon Crisis"
    right now, BTW. ;-)
