Kodak DCSpro 14N and Nikkor AF 85mm f/1.8D

  1. Hi,

I did a quick search but could see nothing about this on this group. A
friend has a Kodak DCSpro 14n and uses it with a Nikkor AF 85 f/1.8D
lens. Occasionally he gets a faint but noticable magenta patch in the
middle of his pictures. He tried the camera with another lens (Nikkor
AF 35-70 f/2.8D) and did not get the problem. Similarly when he uses
the 85mm on his Nikon D1X (taking the same image in studio conditions)
there is no problem. The problem only seems to occur with the Kodak and
    85mm combination.

Does anyone know of any incompatibilities between the Kodak and some
Nikkor lenses which could produce this problem ?

  2. Thanks, Jon. We thought it must be some sort of 'reaction' between the
    sensor and the optics.
