I have lost my Dock for the 3700 camera, I find the shops have 3 versions.
One like mine just called a Kodak Dock, a Dock 2, and a 6000 series.

Are the 2 later ones compatable with the first one? or should I replace with
    only the orginal?

  2. Dock 2 is compatible with your 3700 and all 4000 series cameras. The 6000
series dock is compatible only with 6000 series cameras.

The difference between Dock 2 and the original dock is a better charging
circuit and a 3-LED charging indicator separate from the transfer indictor.
It looks pretty much the same.

I bought my Kodak at a third of it's normal price from Kodak on a very
special offer. It suits my purposes and I'm well happy with my purchase.

Thanks for your comment allthough sort of out of the ordinary, but my post
was about Docks, so doubtfull Leica comes into it.

Does it support simultaneous charge and transfer with a DX3700, or
    only with newer models.

One other point - the DOCK INSERT is supplied with the camera, so a
replacement dock insert would need to be obtained or the camera will
not seat properly - unless this is resolved in a different way on the
    Dock 2.

    Greetings Dave,

I cna understand your concern and dilemma.

Actually, there are three docks that will work with your camera. The
original Dock 1 does a great job and should work well. Later we enhanced
that dock and came out with version 2 so Dock 2 will work quite well also.
And, Kodak has recently released the Kodak Printer Dock 4000 that will work
with your camera. This allows you to charge the camera, easy connection to
your computer, and also to make prints directly using Dye Sublimation
    technology.

For a full review of these docks and related features, consider going to our
    accessories page:

    http://www.kodak.com/go/accessories

If you are in Germany be sure to review the stores and options in your
country. For others the link above will work for references in the US. Of
course, the information about the units is the same.

Let me know if there are questions.

Ron, your response did not appear to me, the first I know of it is from
Arthurs further OT post in which he snipped what you said.
I have done a search on GoodleGroups and find the threads less your post.
    It is very strange.
