When using a Kodak DX6440 (without a dock) with a AC adapter is it
recommended to remove the batteries, i.e. downloading pics or even shooting
    Video.
With a Kodak DC240 this was a recommendation when downloading but I see
nothing in the manual addressing this for the DX6440.
    TIA

Yep...I was already aware of that but thanks for the reminder anyway.(G)
As far as going to the Kodak web site as you suggested in your other reply,
I had already done that, but thought I might get a quicker response
here....BTW I did get an answer from Kodak just a minute ago, it's not
required to remove the batteries when using an external power source(3
volt AC adapter),, so the DX6440 is different from the DC240 in that
    regard.
Thanks for your reply, much appreciated.
