Im thinking of buying this camera as ive seen it for £150 at amazon.co.uk
and has had great reviews,i want to be able to take short video clips and
upload to my website(holiday villa for rent),i believe it uses quicktime
    format and
has a resolution of 320 x 240,not brillant i know but im hoping this is
still reasonable/watchable to view online, ill be using a 128 mmc card which
im told will give me about 8 mins in video mode, just interested to hear from
people using the video mode and their thoughts on quality, also as im new to
this group and digital photography can anyone suggest a good camera setting
as i want to take high quality images of villa.rooms etc for uploading again
    to website

    See for yourself:
    http://www.steves-digicams.com/2003_reviews/dx4530_samples.html

There's a sample movie on that page.
With 320x240 resolution at 15 fps the quality is imho comparable to a
webcam, but with a better lens.
This newsgroup is primarily for video. Not photography. Try:
    rec.photo.digital.

But reading the camera's manual usually gives a good impression of the
photo quality settings (which usually translates to resolution &
    compression choices). :)
