    Hello all,
I'm looking to purchase a Kodak EasyShare LS420 digital camera docking
    station.

The camera came out on the market about three years ago and I am having
    difficulty locating one.

    Any suggestions would be helpful.

If I can't locate a docking station, is there a way to:

    1) recharge the batteries without that piece of hardware?

    and

    2) how would I upload the files from the camera to my hard drive?

    Thank you.

    Greetings Eddy,

You can get a battery charger for the batteries using in this camera -
Uses the Kodak lion Rechargeable Digital CAmera Battery KLIC-5000. You
can review the battery on the Kodak web site. Take a look at
http://www.kodak.com/go/accessories On that page is a link to batteries
and power etc. The charger that compliments the battery is the Kodak
Li-Ion Rapid Battery Charger K5000-C. The charger Conveniently charges
your KODAK Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery KLIC-5000 or KLIC-5001 in about
three hours or less. It is (100-240 Volt Input) and has several adapters
for variations of plug outlets around the world. It has an ID of Item #
8312548. You can find in local stores as well as on auction sites.

Same goes for the USB cable. Item # 8539249 Kodak USB Cable, Model U-4.
It is in the same area as above under gear. Should be able to find in
other locations as well. Try eBay and other auction sites as well as
camera and other local stores selling digital equipment.

Good luck, Eddy, let me know if you continue to have trouble.
