December 11, 2006, from Lloyd Erlick,

I've been looking at old books. This one had
my mother's name inside the front cover, so
    that's a good sign--

"How to Make Good Pictures", Eastman Kodak
Company, Rochester, New York. Copyright 1943
    by Eastman Kodak Company.

    quotation from page 9:

"... you can at all times count on getting
authoritative information on any branch of
picture making by writing to the Sales and
Service Division, Eastman Kodak Company, N.Y.
If you want helpful, constructive criticism
of specific examples of your work, send
negatives, prints, and data along with your
letter. There will be no charge, and no
    obligation."

    regards,
    --le
