Kodak's LS443 Camera *or* Kodak's Greediness at its Worst

    It would seem that a large number of consumers don't agree with you as
    Kodak is number one in sales in the US, and number 2 worldwide.

    I would agree, but getting the card out of my camera is a PITA. It
    either has to be pulled out with fingernails, or it shoots half-way
    across the room, there seems to be no happy medium. sigh.

    Here is one:

    What a shame... (DHCQ)

    "I have to add my voice to all those who expressed dissatisfaction
    with this camera. Don't get me wrong: the machine is lovely, takes
    nice photos, is a doddle to use, looks good, not too bulky etc. BUT
    any $350 product that only lasts two and a half years is not good
    enough. We need to fight this disposable culture. Disposable is OK for
    a $20-$50 purchase. Significant outlay like $350 should buy me a
    (computer) product that will last until it's either completely utdated
    or I decide to upgrade"

    Somehow just feeling one is not alone brings calmness.
