Does anyone know if you can control the ISO setting on a Konica Minolta
DiMAGE Z1. I haven't been able to find any way to manually select.
It is a 3.4 MP camera.

I am considering upgrading to Canon Rebel Digital (entry price range is
right). Also interested in comparison for amateur enthusiast who wants
better digital pics and more control for taking detailed shots of models
    etc...

    Thanks,

  2. Hi,

I also own the Z1 and ISO can be set manually. But not in AUTO mode. In
AUTO-mode the iso value is selected by the camera fully automatic.
Choose P, A, S or M. Then you find the ISO settings in the menue.

Thanks. I found it today in the menu, item number 3, when I'm in one of the
modes you cited. Specifically it is listed under "Sensitivity" The Camera
shoots ISO 50-200 when in auto. If you want to shoot at 400 you have to get
out of auto and select it.

    Thanks,
    Russ
