well my camera was just about 12 months old and a problem occurred which is
that occasionally on start up the camera body judders and the lcd screen
goes berserk for about 3-4 seconds after which the camera works fine, i sent
the camera back to konica and after the camera was returned the same problem
occurred the 2nd time i turned it on, so back it went (it's now out of it's
12 month warranty period ) it was repaired due to the fact that the first
repair failed and they gave me a 6 month warranty ,so back it went ,they had
it for nearly 2 months before it came back ,then 2 weeks later the same
problem ,they now tell me it's going to be at least another month (they have
already had it 2 weeks) My question is (eventually) is has any body
else had this problem ? if so what did you do?
    thanks in advance

ps I've written to Konica venting my feelings but all i get is the standard
    apology letter

I have a similar problem with my Z3 - the LCD screen goes red and I can
barely see what's on the screen. The problem occured after a repair.
When I press the plastic bit around the LCD it turns ok for a second,
but then returns to its red gamma again.
