    I have VFAPI avi fle grenerated from D2V project file duration is
    2:25:10

    When I load the the file in CCE 2.66 if displays # of frames=261040
    length=2:25:01:10

    Windows media player shows the length of encoded mpg2 (multipass VBR)
    2:25:00

    fps=29.97 all through out

    What am I missing here?

    261040 frames is 2:25:01:10 in 30fps non-drop-frame time. It will take
    slightly longer than this to play at 29.97fps; drop-frame would be
    about 2:25:09.

    I wouldn't trust the length Windows Media Player is telling you. It
    might be chopping off the last GOP or something.

    Also, if your video ever goes through the AVI format, all bets are off
    - most AVI reading/writing software gets the frame rate slightly
    wrong.
