Will AF Nikkor lenses fully function on the D100?

    Thanks,

  2. "D" or "G" series AF Nikkor lenses work just fine with full functionality.
The primary difference between the two is that the D series has a manual
aperture ring (which is locked at min aperture for autometering and not used
on the D100) whereas the G lenses *must* be used with the modern Nikon-based
cameras since there is no way for the user to set the aperture manually on
    the lens.

There are some great G lenses. I have a Nikkor 24-120G VR AF-S lens which I
    really like.
