    Hi,

I'm after a reasonably priced lightbox to view my slides on (not one
of those plastic ones that run off batteries though) in Syd.
Can someone recommend any and what would they be worth roughly. Just
    after something basic.

Also, what loupes do ppl everyone use....?
I'm looking to get an 8x (if i can source one locally), not sure of
brands though as there seems to be a huge deviation in price,

    Thanks in advance,
    qs

  2. I have one of those and it's the best lighbox I have ever had :)
What about a old waist level finder off a medium format camera? They work
really well and are as clear as!

apparently a 50mm lens will do if you don't want to spend much too

re the lightbox, i heard that sometimes hospitals upgrade their x-ray ones
and the old ones are left lying around...urban legend?

Not a huge amount on the website, but worth giving them a ring at
    least.

    Cheers
