I was wondering who made it. Fairly interesting concept, and seems to
be pretty popular from the amount of them I saw parked around the city.
And with petrol at 85-90p a liter I can understand the appeal of a
small, thrifty little car like that.

The reason they are popular in cities is because they are as long as a
normal car is wide so when parking on the street they can be just driven
into the tiniest of spaces that other cars wouldn't fit into. Also there is
another reason why only a small engine car is needed in London (interesting
fact coming up) The average speed in London today is the same as it was in
    1900......i.e. 11 miles an hour.............no need for a big V6 engine -
you'd never get out of first!!!
