    Sorry, `Susy`, you were warned.

Like to tell these idiots what you think of spamming LIARS???

    Email them, at:

The sites are lame, the website design is woeful, and if you have
    anything but broadband, forget it.

What the heck rattled your chain? Very interesting images, and being Italian
shows a style, and sense of style, quite different to the staid Anglo-Saxon
approach. Would you maybe like to have your government ban any movies, plays or
    music you personally don't like?

I think the photographs are wonderful! Photography is about, well,
photographs, not web design or cameras etc. e.g.Art is about 'ART' not
    brushes.

Is this a moderated group? I never see the first post of this kind of message,
    only the replies.

  7. It doesn't have to be moderated for a NNTP Server admin. to delete spam.

Who does this? The Alt.photography server admin (who is this person?), or the
    individual ISPs? Just curious.

  9. I would have to assume the News Server admin of the server you use. My ISP is Verizon and I
use their News Server and I see the spam.

Each News Server, while sharing with its peers, can be administered differently. For
example, Shaw of Canada allows their service to post binary files to non-binary News Groups.
My ISP will block those posts. Another example is if a Dollar Sign ($) is in the subject.
Either in a new post or in a reply Verizon will block the message from being posted.
Verizon also does other filtering to prevent spam but (for obvious reasons) doesn't publish
the criteria. I know about the Dollar Sign filter becuase I have replied to a few posts
with the Dollar Sign in the subject and they never were posted. Change the $ to the word
Dollar and the post made it to the server.

I assume you use Telecom Xtra's News Server.

I do use xtra. I don't see binaries every time. Sometimes I do. I see spam on
other newsgroups, but often on this group only do they disappear. Many of these
that disappear would be hard to detect with spam filtering, that's why I thought
someone manually deleted it. A job too big for an ISP - manual deletion that is,
    for every ng.
