    Hi :D

I've just bought a Praktica Luxmedia 4008 and am miffed by the purpos
of a little yellow hand on the display, whenever I am going to take
photo. It can be found qbout 3/4's of the way down on the right han
    side

I thought it might be something to do with out of focus images o
being too close to the target object or something, but even when th
image is in focus, it is still there

I'd appreciate some advice on what it is, and how i get rid of it

    Thanks in advance

Insufficient lux flux? i.e., perhaps it's a warning that the
camera thinks that there may be insufficient light for the picture.

Does the yellow hand also show up when the camera takes pictures
outdoors in bright daylight, or indoors with the flash enabled? If
you have a manual, are you certain that the yellow hand wasn't
described somewhere? Things such as this are sometimes only briefly
    mentioned, and are easily overlooked.

Does it not say in the owners manual? You might wish to contact their tech
    support dept:
