Matrox RT X100 or Canopus DVStorm2

  1. Hey folks,

First off, I'm not wanting to start any flame wars here. I simply am looking
for people who use one of these products and can provide some honest facts.

I've been following the newsgroups for several weeks, reading reviews, etc. on
both of these cards. I currently use a lot of still images and Mini DV video
along with sound tracks and make little movies, films, etc. for family and
    friends.

Which of these will give me the most flexibility and ability to do more complex
things in the future? Which has the best output quality (DVD and VHS)?
    Stability?

Also, I will be using Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop and After Effects. Those
are the only software packages I will be using.

Thanks in advance for any input you can give. I'm pretty much stuck between
these two cards. They both look excellent, but for my needs I'm looking for
some inside info on which would do best for me.
