    Hi,

I thinking about bying a HP Deskjet 1280. Does anybody know if there is
a maximum paper length applicable if I put the printer in 'Banner' mode
? I want to print large banner (> 3 meters) on roll paper.

    Thanks

    Thanks for your answer Dave.

I know the specs of the printer, I even installed the driver without
owning the machine. The 13x50 inch seems to be the maximum custom size
paper. But apart from 'custom' there is also a 'banner' mode.

I would like to know if there is a paper length limitation in banner
mode. I can't find this info anywhere, so I'm calling out to someone
    who ownes one.

I suggest contact HP or a HP certified reseller.

I did. They didn't answer the question. Instead they recommended buying
a DesignJet 90 or 130. Not quite the budget I had in mind :)

Sometimes you have to pay for what you want.
