Minimum recommended speed for a CF card for Canon Powershot S50?

I bought a Canon Powershot S50 a couple of days ago. Circuit City had a
great price online and Sears matched it and discounted it for 10% of the
difference. How could I not buy it?

    I saw a Lexar 256Mb CF card advertised for $49.99 yesterday at Fry's. I
bought the last one they had. When I got it home, I noticed that it was
only 4X speed. Maybe I'm naive, but I thought that all CF's were faster
these days. At this speed, am I going to be experiencing any significant
performance issues with my camera? I really don't care about transfer
    speeds to/from my computer.

FWIW, I have a Sandisk Ultra 256MB CF that I bought in early 2002 for my
PocketPC. I could not find any documentation about the speed online. Would
this CF card be a better choice for my camera? I can swap the two if this
is the case since I don't need a lot of speed for my PocketPC which gets
    light use.

    Happy New Year!
