Minolta Auto Meter IV F

Discussion in 'Minolta' started by Brian Crawford, Dec 9, 2006.

  1. The light meter's manual mentions that it could be "permanently damaged"
if left in a -20 C or colder environment. I accidently left mine in my
car when the temp was -30. Why would this damage he meter, and what
damage may I look forward to?

I don't know whaqt would be damaged. Could be the LCD readout or the
    sensor. Or something else.

    If, for ISO 100, you get a reading like f/16 1/80 .. 1/125 while
pointing the dome at the horizon in the direction of the sun around noon
on a bright sunny day, then there is probably nothing wrong.

    Cheers,
    Alan
