    Hi,
Just bought a second-hand Minolta Dynax 9 body, and I would like to
know if anyone has had any problems with it in hot and humid
conditions. I am going to Gabon this summer for a month, and I am
pondering whether or not to sell my other body (Minolta 800Si).

    cheers, Marko

It is designed for dusty, misty ugly weather. I've had mine misted up,
sweated up (under the ski coat) and variably well dusted. No problems.

The only malfunction I had was a film jam at -17°C on a very windy day
(eg, it cooled off very quickly).

I've had no hot weather problems, but I can't say it ever got really
heat stressed. (high 30's at worst).

    Cheers,
    Alan
