    Hi,

    I'm seriously considering the 20D. I currently have a Minolta 7000i
    and 3 lenses, a 24, a 400, and a 70-200 zoom. A friend told me I can
purchase adapters to use the lenses with the 20D.

I would appreciate thoughts on this.

    Thank you,

    Kevin

If such adaptors are available, you will lose all of the automatic
features - strictly manual focus, and nothing else.

If you have a lot of money tied up in your lenses, you might want to
consider a Konica-Minolta dSLR, or the new dSLR by Sony (who bought the K-M
technology), and uses all of the Minolta lenses.

Read the Sony dSLR review in the Sep. 2006 issue of Pop Photography.

However, if you don't mind buying new lenses, the 20D is a fine camera.
