    I have Minolta's X-700 & XG-7 and also the 360PX and 320X flashes. I thought
the 360PX would also be backward compatible with the XG-7 but it's not. They
don't like each other at all. I would like to also be able to use the 360PX
with the XG-7. Is there anyway to do it with a sync cord? If yes which one.
I went to a camera store and nothing they had would fit. I would assume any
useable sync cord would be the same generation as the cameras. The XG-7 &
    320X flash I've had since 1980. The X700 and 360PX flash I got on Ebay a few
years ago. If there is a sync cord that would work I don't even know what to
    search for.

Most of the Minolta flashes used the same cord as the Vivitar 283 and
    285.
