Eve Arnold. Inge Morath. Henri Cartier-Bresson. George Barris. Bert
Stern. Milton Greene. What do these great legends have in common? Two
other legends-the M Leica and Marilyn Monroe.

Each of the above photographers were noted for having shot iconic
images of the ultimate film legend, Marilyn Monroe. And each of them
owned Leicas, and, sometimes exclusively and sometimes in conjunction
with other quality metal mechanical film cameras, used them to compile
lifetime portfolios which would put them in the ranks of the great
legends even if they had never exposed one frame of that great legend.

Monroe herself owned at least one M Leica, a gift from HC-B.

Now, in conjunction with the Marilyn Monroe estate, the Marilyn
    Monroe MM Leica.

    Well..why not?

Is George Barris the same guy that built ( builds? ) the famous custom cars?

Just as there are two of about every other name celebrity-two Bill
Gateses, two Woody Allens, et al-there are two George Barrises and I
don't know if they've ever met: one is a sleb photographer and the
    other a kar kustomizer.
My guess is they have because of geography and shared clientele.
