Movieshaker and mpeg

I use Movieshaker v.3.1 to capture microMV video from my sony cam to
my computer. I do this by batch capture, however it is saved in mmv,
MovieShakers format. In order to convert this to an mpeg file, (so I
can make a DVD), i have to take each capture, one at a time and often
can be as many as 20-40 seperate files, and convert them into mpeg.

Does anyone know of a way to batch convert from MMV -> mpeg, or to
create a DVD directly from Movieshaker MMV format? This would greatly
help my ability to create home video DVD's.

    Thanks for your time,

I have colected some information in my preliminary MicroMV page (see
signature). Maybe you want to try this out.
Pinacle Studio 8 might also be worth looking at, sometimes you can get
very cheap OEM versions. Reportedly a but buggy, but you can get
    updates from Pinnacle (http://webboard.pinnaclesys.com).
    Cheers

  3. Hello Michael,
there are no problems to convert, but you must use the pc, where movieshaker
is installed, so you have the codec.
Batch converting of multiple files is a fine job for TMPGenc, better and
faster is MainConcept MPEG Encoder. For making DVD you must a authoring
program. If you need more information, write a Email.
