Moving a project from Premiere Elements to Premiere CS3

I created a slide show in Adobe Premiere Elements and was thinking of
giving the project file to someone who has Adobe Premiere CS3 so they
can replace the music sound track (I temporary put copywrite music on
the sound track) and issue ir on DVD for others. This person has a
copy of the photos for the slide show. I have a feeling that Adobe
Premiere CS3 has a different extension for projects files than the
    ..prel that Premiere Elements uses.
I have a feeling that others who have upgraded from Premiere Elements
to Premiere CS3 or CS4 have encountered the same problem when they
want to carry on editing their unfinished projects using Premiere CS3
    or CS4.
    Any suggestions please.

    Regards Brian

It may depend on how long it is. If you are done with all the video
editing and merely want to change or edit the sound, you could save it
to an AVI file and transfer it that way. The only problem is that AVI
files are huge. If it is larger than any flash drive you have handy,
you would have to put it on a USB external drive.
