I have been facing a lot of problems with my current configuration.

    I have a P4 1.8GHz
    512 MB RAM
    160 GB Hard Drive
    Windows XP SP2
    nVidia GeForce2 5200 (128 MB)

I am using Capture Wiz 3.1 (and later) and DVD Express USB Rev 2

The problem was this was manageable with RCA video input. If the
preview does not show, disconnect the device, kill CapWiz, and restart
device and CapWiz. Worked everytime except when I left the device
    connected overnight.

All bets were off if I tried S-Video. It would not show preview most of
the times, if it did, it would be in B/W. Then connecting RCA it would
come in color proving some mismatch with what I tell it and what it
    thinks is going on.
Then once I get color through RCA. I can stop Preview, change input
mode to S-Video (it was S-Video but i just ok it once again),
disconnect RCA cable (connect S-Video if not connected already) and
then S-Video would be in color.

S-video capture would NEVER work two times in a row if I exit from
    CapWiz and try again.

After reading the group messages at ezboard, I have decided to go for
    Instant DVD 2.0

    My questions are:

    1. Do you think this would improve my experience or does it look like
a problem with my computer? I want to stick with ADS as far as possible
as when it worked, it did a great job for me.

    2. There seem to be an audio out and video out in the back on
Instant-DVD 2.0. When are they typically used?
