Multi-card USB reader that includes SDHC?

I find that a lot of camera buffs are complaining that new standards in
memory cards are making their card readers obsolete. I own one of those
obsolete card readers (very, very obsolete, bought in 1999 for my Nikon
Coolpix 950 CF card) and I don't want to repeat the process when I buy
something more up-to-date in a few days or weeks. I'm thinking of something
that has to be at least compatible with SDHC cards, which appear to be new
    on the market

So far, the most desirable reader seems to be the Edge "All-In-One" reader
for $24.95 direct from the manufacturer. Other sources quoting lower prices
for this product (like $17.28) without exception show no stock on hand, and
no back orders accepted. This looks mighty fishy to me, but the Edge reader
sounds so good and the manufacturer shows it in stock - - should I jump or
    wait?

If anyone has experience with this reader, I'd be interested in your
    opinion.

    Thanks

    Chuck

I have been very happy with my Transcend card reader which reads my 4 GB SD
cards with no problem. Plus it's a good deal direct from the manufacturer.

The only advantage I see for the Edge reader is its built-in stubby USB
cable which is good for laptops . The Transcend comes with a detachable one
which is better for desktops IMHO. The Transcend is also only $14.50.

  3. I have a sweex that is supposed to read 53 types of memory cards and cost 13
euros with taxes.I bought it mostly for my sister's CF cards because my
nytech camera www.nytech.de appears as a removable drive in my win 2k
desktop, without needing to install any proprietary software (like my
previous camera, the infamous Kodak CX7300).

Thanks to you and iws for your help. I found that the Sandisk 12 in 1 Reader
has been updated to include SDHC and is readily available from a few
sources. My report on that reader was posted today at 3:50PM.
