i have a few cameras they are all automatic everything so i'm lazy

i found an ansco memar pronto camera in my moms things and wanted to
try it out but the film i have for my other cameras doesnt fit

i was thinking of just cutting off the protuberance but then what if it
    cannot be developed

i just want to try my hand at the manual adjustments

its highest shutter speed if 200 what if i use 400 film couln't i just
    close the aperture more

whats the difference between looking at an item half as long with twice
the brightness or twice as long with half the brightness

sorry if i sound like the newest noob that ever noobed
