Remembering Bill Farnsworths' comments about his use here as well.

I was just on a two-week docco road trip up & down the Upper
Mississippi valley. On one shot, I had to shoot inside a moving car
during daylight. We had no budget for mounting hardware so I was
working in the front seat of a Honda Accord with a Betacam. (Not
recommended - if I had my druthers I'd have used the PD-150 for this
one!) We needed some fill, just a bit, and my Frezzi mini-fill with
my Anton Bauer removable BVV-5 bottom plate and a clamp made a nice
little mount and gave enough light without being too hot. If memory
serves it was the 35W wide beam lamp. And totally indepndent of the
camera, which was also nice. (I truly hate that "straight on" light
    right in the face look.)

I looked at the shot and it worked - did what I wanted it to do.

Disclaimer: I do not work for SoLux.

Claim: They do make a nice little additoin to your toolbox.
