I'm trying to identify this big piece of very shiny black plastic.
Yes, I already know that much.

It's a paper film camera, IOW not digital.

Looks like it has a really big plastic/glass/whatever lens piece
    covering maybe a 50mm lens.

The very cheap looking little plastic lever popped off when I tried
opening the film bay. Snapped it back on.

The only thing it says is "Panoramic" and that looks like a brand

The owner has a flash attachment.

I'm sure it's junk (especially since it's not mine, heheh), but any
leads to information would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

The only one I ever saw (and I owned one) was a very cheap plastic camera,
and may have had a name like that. It was purchased for a few dollars, and
probably cost a few cents to make.

What I found that it was made as a gimmick (around the same time that APC
cameras were being promoted). The trick was that it had a cheap, wide angle
lens, and used a horizontal mask over the 35mm film frame. The developing
was something like a 4x10 print. Much better results could have been had by
using a better camera, and having an 8x10 print made, then crop with a pair
    of scissors.

The smaller the fine print, the less you will like what it says.

I had one made by Polaroid, but it had their name on it.
