    Hi, I use slr's so I don't know much about point and shoot. But I
    wanted to get one for my Mother. She complains about my slr being
    wayyy to big and bulky. But of course she wants a P & S to do all my
    slr does. (groan).
    At any rate. I am looking for several features.
    *Wide angle with a moderate zoom. (28-80 would be great but 35-70 is
    fine);
    *Focus lock. (be able to focus on a specific object and reframe the
    picture before takeing );
    *A viewfinder that zooms with the lenz, or at least has the proper
    frames so you know exactly what you are getting.;
    *Fill flash and Flash "off".;
    100 bucks or less would be cool, but not that big of a deal.
    I have looked at minolta, yashika, olympus, konika, so far. I can find
    the features needed, but not all in the same camera. TIA, mes.
