My apologies if this has been covered way too many times. I am in a
pickle here...having former camera (Fuji) die after just 2 yrs.

Can you recommend a good quality point & shoot model with zoom in the
    100-200 dollar range.

I have been reading on line reviews and there is so much conflicting
    info.

Things that are important to me: easy to use, very good red eye
    reduction.

Any help you could provide would be much appreciated as I will have to
replace the old camera in the next 2-3 days.

    thanks
    Russ

If you want a chance of not getting 'red-eye' -- don't buy a zoom
point-and-shoot camera. (A dark area behind you will give the
opportunity for red-eye to be a factor in your images.)

As SLR film camera 'kits' are available for nearly the same price, a
used flash bracket and a flash unit, will get the flash above the
camera a few inches and that, too, will help get rid of 'red-eye.'

Try a look at B&H Photo-Video, a large mail-order store in New York

    Good luck!

  5. No. None exists. Try the Leica CM. About $1k.
