need help with final cut express clips

    Need help making clips from clips.
    On a given clip, i mark in and out and then select the area in between.
    When I copy and paste to another bin, I end up getting the entire
    clip, not just the part I selected. ALSO, it won't let me name this
    clip anything other than the original clip name.
