I'm writing a dvd using Vision Express.
It has one chapter only, and runs for 40 minutes.
It starts with a b/g picture with a button in the middle to start the
    movie.
I don't want any text associated with the button, so I deleted it, but
I can't find a way to delete the button number.
So I'm stuck with a single button numbered "1".
Anyone know how to get rid of the number?
    Thanks

    Hi Tony,

This is really complex, so you'll need to follow my directions
    exactly.

In the menu edit window click on the button icon. You will get a
selection of button options. Near the bottom is an item called
something like Text and numbering, which gives you the option of Text
and Numbers, Text only or Numbers only. Click on the text only
option. Now, if you haven't named your loaded file and you have only
text selected, you will get no numbers and no name. In the final DVD
it probably won't help to just delete the file name in the edit
window, since the program usually gets the name from the file itself,
not from what you type on the edit screen.

The second and better option is to go into the Layout menu and select
a layout that only includes buttons and no text or numbers. That way
also you'll have only one button and no text and no number.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Susan
I found the selection of button options, but could not find any
selection options for text and numbering, only an option to animate the
button. Perhaps I have a different version? Mine's Nero vision express
    6.

But the second option solved my problem!

    Thanks
