Never mind the Rokkor question but how about this one.

  1. Greetings,

I just posted a question on a wide angle Rokkor lens. I found a FAQ and it
answered the question. However, this quick question are all Maxxum mounts
the same? If it says Maxxum mount it should work on all correct?

    Thank you

Yes, the Minolta AF mount has not changed.

Also, the adapter to ue the MD lenses on the AF bodies multiplies the
focal length by 1.2x or 1.4x (I dont remember which) so, take that
    into consideration.

I have one, and it's less than 1.2x, more like 1.05x. Also depending on
the Maxxum model, you may need to set the camera to ignore the lense
check. Otherwise, the camera won't fire.

There are several versions and manufacturers of these adapters. The most
common, a no-name adapter with a single lens, is more like 1.1x. Sigma made
a 1.6x that is pretty uncommon. And Minolta themselves made two, one for
short focal lenghts and one for longer lenses, both these were 2x.
