New Aristo VCL4500 Lamps Now Available For Ordering

Discussion in 'Darkroom Developing and Printing' started by register.nadvor, Feb 18, 2011.

  1. As a follow-up to my post on December 19, 2010, LCD Lighting, Inc.
(successor to Aristo Grid Lamp Products, Inc.) has just today
announced that they are now accepting orders for the new manufacturing
run of replacement grid lamps for the Aristo VCL4500 variable-contrast
    cold light head.

According to Louise Kessler at LCD, these new lamps will be made "on a
per request basis for each order." So if you own and use a VCL4500 and
think you might be interested, now would be the time to decide. Based
on Louise's comments, I do not believe that LCD will be maintaining an
inventory of this item over time.

As one of the those who has been gently pestering LCD (through Louise,
with direct emails to LCD VPs, etc.) over the last couple of years to
reintroduce these replacement lamps, I have already ordered mine.

Additional information, including a link to the price quote document
that was sent out to interested parties this afternoon, may be found
in this post on the APUG Darkroom Equipment Forum:
