New Lens problems.

    I just received my new lens, a Nikon 14mm 2.8 Ed AF-D. After taking several practice shots the one problem I am having, which is a really dumb question I know, but the shallow depth of field. The 2.8 is going to be the widest aperture setting I can use, right?
