New Olympus dSLRs

  2. Can someone explain this to me:-

    "Live View LCD "

    Aren't they "live" on all cameras with a screen on the back?

    DSLRs have to put a mirror in front of the sensor in order for the
    viewfinder to show you a true 'through the lens' view. You cannot easily
    show a live picture on the LCD screen with such a setup. Olympus are very
    advanced in many areas of camera design. They provide a "mirror lock" on
    some of their cameras to allow a live view.

    Many traditional photographers who are not used to looking at arms length to
    compose an image do not think this is a worthwhile feature. People moving
    from a Digicam to a DSLR will probably love it.
