    Hi,

I was in Las Vegas last weekend for the roll out of the new Event Opal audio
monitors. The science behind these monitors is very interesting. The demo
    sounded very impressive.

    There's a 92 MB quicktime video file.

Downloading from your .Mac iDisk Downloads page took 2:20 at 600-650
kB/sec., and the 44.1 KHz. mono ACC soundtrack played fine on my
iMac. The monitors look a little pricey but interesting. Will they
perhaps be appearing soon on the shelves of my (our) friendly
neighborhood Guitar Center...like so many other Event products...or
will I need to look elsewhere?

    Thanks Don,

BTW, the 788T is all packed up and ready to return to SD. If you really HAVE
to see it. Come by this coming week. Jim Bigwood likes the look of it.

Well I did see GC's Dave Angress at the event (in fact he makes several cameo
    appearances in my little video).

I think they are due to ship in September. Don't know what the distribution
may be but there are more than GC people there.

    Regards,
