I recently got Premiere 7 and can't figure out how to rotate a short
WMV file. The video is loaded into the monitor window and timeline.
I've tried selecting both vertical and horizontal flips in the effect
controls window, but there were no changes to the video. I know I must
be missing something simple, but can't figure out what. Thanks!

  2. It sounds like Premiere may be beyond you - which is OK cause there
are tools to handle WMV. In windows movie maker instead, drag the clip
onto the timeline then from the menu choose

Clip -> Video -> Video Effects; Pick "Rotate 90º", click Add then OK
Now save the clip with a new name and bring it back into Premiere

Moviemaker should be installed on Vista - on XP you can get it from
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx

NS :) But I bought the damn program and I'm gonna learn it.
Ok, I rotated it in movie maker, but now it's the wrong aspect ratio.

Crack the manual. Do you think all things are intuitive?
