It occurs to me that your photo book should be a city or state treasure.
You should send copies to the state historical societies, local
university history departments and the like.

I plan to drive through there sometime in the next few years. I'll be
sure to drop in at Konchanski's.

Wow thank you for the excellent suggestions...
I am definitely going to do that.

The owner of the establishment said someone from the Milwaukee Public
Library came in and took down the book's ISBN number. Maybe I should
    give him a free copy.

Free copies given to appropriate people can sometimes do wondrous things.

When I'm fit enough to visit a bookshop I shall order a copy of your book.

Deliver it in person! Find out what evenings their library is most busy
and coinciding with when an administrator of the library collection
would be there. Make an appointment. You'll get more leverage from
    that than you can imagine.

Strategically placed free copies can help sales - esp. of your follow on
    volumes.

Dang...I had hoped to sell it internationally.

I just found out today that anyone in Europe who wants it can get it but
pay an extra 50% or so in postage

If anyone wants one I can be contacted directly
and can try to work out a better deal

I've already got it in my "Cart", but won't pull the trigger until I
next go to Plattsburg. Also need to order more stuff to get free
    shipping to the mail pickup.
