Nikon 12-24mm?

Discussion in 'Nikon' started by Gary Morrison, Aug 10, 2003.

  1. Have any of you heard any information on the timeframes of availability of
the rumored 12mm-to-24mm lens, more or less targeted for the D100?

From what little I've heard of it, it is more than just a rumor, but I
haven't heard any concrete information as to whether it's actually being
sold yet, and what sellers have the shortest waiting lists.

  2. Ah, so then they are shipping at this point, even if only in very small
quantities. That's good information; thanks for the reply.

Being a dealer I got mine quick, actually unless you were a big name most
    stoires only got three units.
I used it for PJ work, samples at www.aljacobs.com see The Command.
Great lense for when you are stuck in the crowd. Really Upclose and
    uncomfortable. Filled rooms etc.
    Does an excellent job...

  4. I've had mine for a couple of months now. Nice piece of hardware. You can
see a few example pics taken using this lens at

    Cheers,
