Just wondering if the f/1.2 lens (not 1:2) is still available new in the AI
format ? As would fit a FM/FG/FE etc
    Thanks

Ai= Automatic indexing. Nikkor lenses for camera FM, FE, F2AS, F2A and
    later cameras.
AiS= Control on Nikkor lenses for cameras with programmed automatic
exposure (popular in amature phtography), such as the N2000, N8008, F4,
or later cameras permitting Programmed" features.

The AIS lens will work on all late model Film cameras but only on a few
of Nikon's digital cameras and still permit use of the camera meter.
But yes, AIS will work on the f2. F2, great camera!
