    Hello all,
I am considering to upgrade my 80-200 AFS 2,8 Nikon zoom lens to the new
70-200 AF G VR lens. I often use my current zoom lens with the TC 2,0 E
Teleconverter and I wonder this teleconverter is fully competible with the
new 70-200 AF G VR lens maintaining AFS and VR features. This is not the
newer version TC 2,0 E II. Regards.

  2. It will work fine & is fully compatible.
The only difference between the TC2E and the TC2EII is appearance (and very
little difference at that). Optically and electronically the same.

I have this combo and it works great. I hand hold at 400mm and the pictures
are tack sharp. I like this combination so much I might sell my 300 f4 AF-s.
