If you look above the barcode label right side there should be d70 and 18-70
for other label, in my case 80 --- is d70 number

Turn the camera upside-down. Just above the words 'Nikon DIGITAL' on the
nameplate you'll find the serial number stamped on the body in tiny, brown,
almost unreadable numbers. The light has to be just right and a loupe will
    help in reading it.

FWIW, on the left side of the Atlantic, label on the bottom of the box
explicitly denotes the Camera S/N and the Lens S/N on the label. You can
verify them on the hardware itself. Get your magnifying glass out first.
The camera S/n is on the bottom just above the word Nikon. The lens' S/N is
1080 deg opposite from the dot marking the top of the barrel under the Made
    in Thailand label.
